INJECTABLES

Guests of Eureka Body Care & Spa don’t just feel relaxed. They look it! We now offer top-of-the-line injectables to complement the rest of our expansive, energizing array of rejuvenating spa services.

There are two main categories of injectables. There are neurotoxins, such as BOTOX® and DYSPORT®. Neurotoxins weaken muscles causing wrinkles. Then, there are fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane. These smooth creases and add volume. With these options now available at Eureka Body Care & Spa, your smiles will look more beautiful on your way out than they did on your way in. That goes for the rest of your face as well!

Here is a closer look at our services:

BOTOX®

BOTOX® has been working its magic for over fifteen years now. Did you know that 6 million BOTOX® procedures are performed each year? What is it? How is administered?

Believe it or not, BOTOX® is derived from a bacterium that is used to treat over 20 medical conditions. The organism’s scientific name is Clostridium botulinum and it also treats migraines, excessive sweating and muscular disorders. For our purposes, it is used to paralyze the muscles underneath the skin’s surface. Because the muscle paralysis is only temporary, we recommend you visit us for visit us for treatment every 3-6 months. Crow’s feet, frown lines and other ghastly wrinkles don’t stand a chance once BOTOX® is administered.

Dysport

DYSPORT® is often mentioned in the same sentence as BOTOX®. BOTOX® arrived on the scene first, in 2002, as a cure for those wrinkles between your brows. Seven years later, the FDA approved its direct competitor, DYSPORT®.  The name may be less familiar, but their origins and benefits are quite similar.

Both are injectable forms of botulinum toxin type A. Both relax muscle tissue in the face, resulting in the disappearance of lines and wrinkles. The results are temporary. Maintenance is required.

The difference between the two lies in their unique designs. DYSPORT® has a smaller molecule size and is diluted differently. Here’s what that means:

  • More units of DYSPORT® must be administered in order to achieve the same level of results.
  • The effects of DYSPORT® are often seen more quickly.
  • DYSPORT® spreads across and affects a broader area following injection.

Juvederm

Juvederm is not just a filler. It is a collection of fillers. There is Juvederm, Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Vollure.

Juvederm is a gel composed of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. The gel is designed to help add hydration and volume to your skin. An injection beneath the skin is all it takes to restore its youthful glow.

Juvederm Voluma is another gel derived from hyaluronic acid. It specifically targets sagging skin and sunken cheeks, restoring fullness and youthfulness.

The latest addition to Juvederm’s collection of fillers is Juvederm Vollure. Some of your more severe facial lines and wrinkles are the result of diminished elasticity. Serums and creams may work well on the surface but Juvederm Vollure adds volume and leaves you with subtle, long-lasting results.

Restylane

Restylane is a clear gel composed of hyaluronic acid.  Our skin derives its youthful suppleness and moisture from the large amounts of this, found between our cells. As we age, a decrease in hyaluronic acid results in facial muscles becoming closer to the skin’s surface. This is what causes wrinkles and smile lines.

Restylane works quickly, adding fullness to the lips and filling in those hollows beneath the eyes. Two specific features it has been known to correct are nasolabial folds and marionette lines. ‘Naso-‘ refers to the nose and ‘labial refers to the lips. Nasolabial folds are the lines that run from your nose toward the corners of your mouth. Marionette lines get their name from the stringed puppets who show similar lines when they “speak.” These lines run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin.

Restylane is especially effective with these more severe wrinkles because it is a slightly thicker substance designed for a deeper injection. Just like Juvederm, it is non-surgical and FDA-approved.

The Eureka experience is always relaxing. These treatments are no exception. Our professionals are well-trained. Our Park Avenue premises are as beautiful as ever. If you have any questions, please visit or contact us today.
