How to Prepare for Your BioRePeel Treatment and Care for Your Skin Afterwards
BioRePeel is a professional biphasic peel treatment designed to exfoliate the skin and improve the appearance of texture, tone, and dullness, with little to no visible peeling for most clients. At Eureka Body Care & Spa, proper preparation and aftercare help your skin recover comfortably and support your treatment results.
Before Your Bio Peel Appointment
- Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure for at least one week before your treatment.
- Stop using retinoids and strong exfoliating products (such as AHAs and BHAs) 5 to 7 days before your appointment, unless your provider advises otherwise.
- Avoid waxing, threading, or depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least one week before.
- Tell your provider about any medications you take, active skin conditions, or a history of cold sores.
- Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup, on the day of your treatment.
After Your Bio Peel Treatment
- Your skin may feel tight or look slightly flushed for the first day or two. Light flaking can occur over the following days — let it shed naturally and do not pick or peel it.
- Cleanse gently with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser, and keep the skin moisturized.
- Apply sunscreen every day — your skin is more sensitive to the sun after a peel.
- Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other active skincare products for 5 to 7 days, or as your provider directs.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot showers on the face, and strenuous exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
- Wait at least two weeks before other facial treatments on the same area, unless your provider advises otherwise.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does BioRePeel make your skin peel like a regular chemical peel?
Most clients experience little to no visible peeling. Some light flaking is possible over a few days, but there is typically no downtime.
When will I see results from BioRePeel?
Many clients notice a fresher, more even-looking glow within the first week. A series of sessions, spaced as your provider recommends, is usually suggested for more visible improvement.
Can I wear makeup after BioRePeel?
We recommend giving your skin the rest of the treatment day without makeup. From the next day, makeup is generally fine if your skin feels calm.
How often can I have BioRePeel treatments?
Sessions are commonly spaced about 7 to 10 days apart in a series. Your provider will recommend a schedule based on your skin and goals.
Is BioRePeel suitable for sensitive skin?
It is chosen by many clients with different skin types, but suitability is individual. Tell your provider about sensitivity or skin conditions so they can advise you.
When to Contact a Medical Professional
Contact your treating clinician if you develop blistering, increasing pain, swelling that keeps worsening after 48 hours, or signs of infection such as spreading redness or warmth. Seek prompt care for any severe reaction.
